Isaiah 26:3 ‘You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.’
|We don’t often hear the word steadfast today, synonyms that carry the same meaning- resolutely or dutifully firm, unwavering, loyal, faithful, committed, dependable,
reliable, steady, true, constant and many more. The Scripture links this with peace. How many of these words describe your faith? There is a subtle assault on your faith.
Satan does not stand up and claim he is the better option, no, his strategy is subtle, creating doubt and championing mediocrity in faith. Mediocrity says just believe and attend
Church perhaps now and then and you should be okay. Our LORD requests a steadfast faith and he will gift you with peace, a peace that this year end you may not have
known before or have been able to hold onto. Put aside the multiple questions that cause you to spend more time questioning God than following him. We all agree that love is unassailable, nothing to
question there. Bless you
Prayer. Holy Father, may this season of Advent be a true time of letting all that Jesus stands for be birthed steadfastly in our lives. Please bring soaking gentle rain to South Africa and dry parts of the world. Please break the drought in South Africa. May Ashley’s soul rest in peace.
