Holy Week and Easter Liturgies – 2023

In Holy week the church celebrates the mysteries of salvation accomplished by Christ, in the last days of His earthly life, from His Messianic entry into Jerusalem to His blessed Passion and glorious Resurrection.

SATURDAY – 01 April

Holy Mass 17h30 – commencing with the blessing of the palms.

Palm Sunday – 02 April

Easter triduum

19h00 – Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by a procession from the Church, with the Blessed Sacrament, to the Grotto (garden of repose) – weather permitting.

A reminder to bring your candles with candle holders.

Good Friday – 07 April

Passion and Death of Our Lord

Day of fasting and abstinence.

08h00 & 10h00 Stations of the Cross: The Solemn Proclamation of the Passion & Death of Our Lord

12h00 & 15h00 Liturgy of the Word / Veneration of the Cross / Holy Communion.

The Good Friday Collection will be for the upkeep of the Holy Land shrines.
