The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)

The aim of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is to build in Victory Park a Eucharistic community that continues Christ’s work by collectively and individually becoming Eucharist to others, thereby leading the community to enter more deeply into the paschal mystery. In doing this the Parish Pastoral Council strives to remain faithful to the model of the first Christian community in Acts 2: 42, 44-47:

“They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one’s need. Every day they devoted themselves to the meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favour with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”

From this the Parish Pastoral Council derives four key building blocks:

Meeting Times

Every second Monday of the month at 19:30 in the Parish Office (Boardroom). Participation by representatives of all sodalities and groups within the parish is welcomed. Parishioners wanting to address the Parish Pastoral Council are most welcome to do so (please arrange with the PPC Chairperson).
