Nelson Mandela Day – Sat 18 Jul
Between 8:00 & 12:00 in the church hall, join the Society of St Vincent de Paul in honour of Madiba’s legacy by giving 67 minutes to serve others. Throughout the morning you can help make sandwiches, pack food parcels, assist with deliveries, join a home visit, or learn more about the Society. Bible Study Course ~ A Walk Through the Bible
Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 18:45 in the Media Centre (next session 23 July). A series of videos by Fr Darren Brennan taking us through the Old and the New Testaments. Blanket Drive
Organised by the Society of St Vincent de Paul for the less fortunate during the cold winter months. R80 buys a blanket. Your donation may be left in the box in the sanctuary. OMI Priests Education Fund Collection – 25/26 Jul
A second collection will be taken up after Holy Communion. Please help yourselves to an envelope which can be found on the tables around the back of the church and in the benches. Please return with your donation next weekend. These funds are used for the education of students to the Oblate priesthood and brotherhood and cover the cost of medical, transport and accommodation expenses. The desired amount is R181 450.00. There are currently 8 pre novices, 10 Novices and 34 Scholastics.
