Holy Week and Easter Liturgy – 2026
In Holy week the church celebrates the mysteries of salvation accomplished by Christ, in the last days of His earthly life from His Messianic entry into Jerusalem and His Passion, to his glorious Resurrection.

Easter triduum
19:00 – Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by a procession from the Church, with the Blessed Sacrament, to the Grotto (garden of repose).  A reminder to bring your candles with candle holders.

Passion and Death of Our Lord Day of fasting and abstinence.

The Solemn Proclamation of the Passion & Death of Our Lord
12:00 & 15:00 Liturgy of the Word / Veneration of the Cross / Holy Communion. The Good Friday Collection will be for the upkeep of the Holy Land shrines.

During the Lent
The Three Pillars of Lent:  Fasting, Almsgiving & Praying.  You are encouraged to attend weekday Mass (details above), pray the Rosary, attend Stations of the Cross, attend Eucharistic Adoration (Fridays in the chapel), spend quiet time with the Blessed Sacrament (church is open every day), attend Bible Study.

Bishops Lenten Appeal – Sacrficium
Help yourself to a pack of envelopes at the entrance table and return one envelope each week with your donation. Children may place their offerings in the large Mite Box in the Sanctuary or help themselves to a small Mite Box on the main table at the church entrance.  

Empty 2l Cold Drink Bottles Needed
For making candle holders for the Easter Vigil. Please bring them to the Parish Office or place them in the box at the back of the church as soon as possible.

Proclaimers of The Word – Sat 18 Apr
Short workshop in the church for new and current Proclaimers. Sat 18 Apr from 11:00 – 12:30. Tel Christo te Brake 082 410 4347 to register if you would like to join this Ministry. 

RCIA (Adult Catechism) – Starts Tue 5 May

Tuesdays 19:00 to 20:30 upstairs in the Parish Office Block.  A 12 month programme for adults interested in being received into the Catholic Church, wanting to be Confirmed or wanting to know more about their Catholic faith.  Online registration for 2026/2027 opens Friday 27 March. Children’s Liturgy of the Word
During 08:00 & 10:00 Sunday Masses in the Catechetical Centre (up to 5 years old) and in the Chapel (for older children who have not yet made their First Communion).  Contact Jane 076 314 4087. As part of our Sunday Liturgy, we will be practicing our Rosary. We hope to find some time to pray with other ‘Rosary for children’ groups.
